Nyt liv til Toldkammerbygningen

The project investigates how a modular construction building can be adjusted aesthetically and integrated in its surroundings. The existing concrete structure is preserved and expanded using sustainable materials. Transforming the building into a dorm and workspace for craftsmen activates the area, creates a public space for the locals, and gives a natural transition from the harbour to the city.

Toldkammerbygningen
Esbjerg havn
Esbjerg by

Tomhed.
