In The Commons of Water residents from the old Sydhavn gather around the water of everyday life, as a means for minimal living. Rainwater is collected and purified to use for bathing, washing laundry or flushing the toilet. The waters’ path in, around and out of the building weaves the industrial area and the open landscape together and creates a common for locals and visitors.

Master of Architecture, The Royal Danish Academy, Settlement Ecology and Tectonics

På kandidatprogrammet Bosætning, Økologi og Tektonik har jeg gennem mine projekter udforsket og arbejdet med et nuanceret bæredygtigt arkitekturfokus. Mine projekter har omhandlet: - Vandforsamlingshus, sammen om hverdagens vand, som forudsætning for at bo småt. - At Bo med Vand: Undersøgelse af vand som tektonisk element, analyse af fortidens byggeri (skriftlig formidling) - Det Fællesskabende Mellemrum: Reversibelt byggesystem med genbrug af affaldsmaterialer, som skaber nye sociale mødesteder. - Udendørs læringsmiljø ved Stauns Fjord, Samsø, Cirkulær Tænkning - Sociale bosætningsformer med bæredygtigt brug af vand som arkitektonisk koncept.
