Today more machines are looking at and interpreting images than humans. The world filled with invisible images. These invisible images are influencing our systems, services as well as our world. To even begin understanding the images we need to see them. Artificial Eyes is a tapestry that displays the invisible visual culture of machine vision. The tapestry is designed as a office decoration for the Pioneer Centre for AI which will open soon in the Observatory Østervold. Through seeing the invisible images, talking about them and reflecting on them we can try to understand them as well as their societal implications.

The tapestry is made as a decoration for the researchers office. The tapestry ideally functions as a tool for talking about their practice of AI. A way to show the invisible images and articulate thoughts about them.
