MENS VI VENTER - foto exhibition by Sille Juline Høgly Petersen
MENS VI VENTER (While we're waiting) is an exhibition about the time that passes from one starting point to another, about what happens in life while we're waiting for something else to happen. There is waiting time, meantime and the time in between.
There is the time, where we or something around us are falling into decay without us noticing. The time where your child is growing up and you remain standing. The time where an experience is becoming a memory. The time that passes when something new is getting outdated.
There is the time you pass while you're waiting for better times. The time that goes by while you are waiting for spring to come, for your grief to dissappear or for a wish to come true. The time that is passing while a flower is grows, decays and a new flower starts flowering.
The time you are using to pass the time. The time that passes in between two breaths. The time that deletes traces and the time that doesn't count. The time that seems to stand still at times and the time that makes a lifetime.
MENS VI VENTER is created by School of Conservation student Sille Juline Høgly Petersen. Lean more about Sille: http://www.sillejulinehoglypetersen.dk/
