With biocomposite as a design driver, the project enables the use of biodegradable waste to create building blocks. The blocks are designed as a shapeable, hygroscopic and fire-resistant insulator that achieves the necessary properties of a wall infill and surface. Without the need for harmful additives and extensive layering, the entire system becomes independent, revealed and approachable.
