Velux Visiting Professors to KADK

Top researchers and practitioners in the fields of architecture and design will enrich research and education at KADK for the next two years. A generous 1.7 million DKK grant from the Villum Foundation will finance the visits of seven international professors to KADK in 2015 and 2016.

The aim of the “Velux Visiting Professor programme” is to support research and education in Denmark by bringing international expertise and experience to Danish research environments. Moreover, the aim is to establish lasting research networks and educational programmes.

The seven visiting professors are employed at European and American universities and architectural firms. They are:

  • Keller Easterling (USA)
  • Ulrich Knaack (NL)
  • Juhani Uolevi Pallasmaa (FI)
  • Olav Kristoffersen (NO)
  • Niels De Temmerman (BE)
  • Billie Faircloth (UK)
