Graduates from Computation in Architecture are entering careers in architectural practice, consultancy, and academic research in Denmark and internationally.  

In addition to broad professional, representational and discursive skills, graduates gain a sophisticated understanding of architecture, specialized knowledge in the use of research-led design methodologies, and master the latest tools and technologies. It is expected that graduates from Computation in Architecture possess advanced skills in digital modeling and python programming, robotic control and digital fabrication, have a critical and operational understanding of LCA, and are knowledgeable of state of the art in material and technological research. Important additional skills developed in the programme include teamworking skills, lab and workshop skills, digital visualization skills, and skills in scientific writing, literature search and theoretical insight.

Computation in Architecture graduates establish careers in architectural practice, research and teaching, and with AEC innovators. 63% of our alumni go to architectural practice at offices including BIG, 3XN, Henning Larsen, Kengo Kuma, Buro Happold, Calatrava, Vandkunsten, Dissing+Weitling and SLA. 27% of our alumni hold research and teaching positions in institutions including the Royal Danish Academy, the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, the Aarhus School of Architecture, Lund University, Konstfack, the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs and the Technical University of Graz. 10% of our alumni go to industry innovators including Odico construction robotics, HDLab, x.Build and COBOD 3d construction printing.
