The Royal Academy, Bloxhub, andel, the Danish Architects' Association and BL invite you to a seminar on the role that architects worldwide can play in a strategic, socially responsible and sustainable reconstruction of Ukraine.

As the war continues to devastate the Ukrainian society the challenge of  rebuilding the country grows. The Ukrainian population faces immediate threats for the coming winter and while the long-term consequences of the war are still impossible to foresee, it is apparent that the rebuild of Ukraine will call for an international collaborative effort.

As architects and stakeholders in the built environment we have a  significant role to play in ensuring a rebuild that is both strategic,  socially responsible, and sustainable. In this seminar we hope to begin an international collective commitment with the ambition of building Ukraine back better.
