Matters of Violence

Title: 'Matters of violence: Parallax views on power across art, architecture and anthropology"

Description: The seminar brings together scientists, activists, and designers around shared concertns with matters of power and violence lodging in material pasts and futures. The aim is to harness epistemplogical and methodological diversities from anthropology and architecture in order to make such matters tangible. The exploration of points of connection will take shape in conversation with anthropologist Anna Tsing (USCS and AU) and architect, scolar and activist Eyal Weizman (Forensic Architecture, Goldsmith's UCL).

The seminar is a cross-disciplinary joint initiative by Tomas Martin (DIGNITY - Danish Center Againt Torture), Peer Schouten (DIIS - Danish Institute for International Studies) and Runa Johannessen (KADK).
