Lecture at “Dent antropologiske vinkel - ÅNDER” / ”The Anthropological Angle - SPIRITS”

TITLE: ‘Ghosts are both frightening and fascinating…so the anthropologists say’

LOCATION: Moesgaard Museum, Aarhus

DATE: 29 May 2019

ACTIVITY:  Lecture concerning ghosts and haunting in Denmark for The Anthropological Angle, part of the anthropological association Jordens Folk (People of the Earth).

RELEVANCE:  Anthropological gathering about spirits, which also alludes to residual categories, deconstruction, matter out of place, and the interplay of presence and absence, which is an important aspect of peripherality.
