New library system - what does it mean for you as a user?

It means that the library system, which handles loans, returns, requests, reservations, purchases and licences etc. move to a new server milieu.

Practically this will have the following consequences for you as a user of the library during the period 26. November – 15. December 2021:

• You can search in the library catalogue, but you can’t see whether the material is available or not.
• Your loans and returns will not figure in your profile until after the 15. December 2021.
• You cannot reserve, pay fees, renew or order interlibrary lending during the period 26. November – 15. December 2021.
• Your current reservations are deleted (You might take a screen print so you can repeat the reservations later).
• Favorites and saved searches in your user profile will be deleted (You might take a screen print so you can recreate it later)

During the period 26. November – 15. December 2021 you can still borrow and return physical material and download electronic material.
