Build around a group of trees: Instead of building around just one tree, you could design the summerhouse to surround a group of trees. This would create a more enclosed and intimate space that feels like a hidden retreat in the forest.

No matter what design you choose, a summerhouse built around trees can be a peaceful and relaxing retreat that connects you to nature.

By using trees from the same place to build the summerhouse, you can create a unique and harmonious connection with the surrounding environment.

In this case, I'm making a Kubbhouse as a project, where you build up the walls with pieces of birch and clay as mortar, and it is important to use light woods so that the moisture can transport through the wood.

The building method is from 1800 and has spread to many places in Sweden and later to Norway.
