I Kontakt Med Naturen / In Touch with Nature

- Visual Storytelling Promoting Using Nature More

Despite nature’s great potential, many children are not spending as much time oudoors as previous generations. That’s a shame. Nature has so much to offer: it’s fun, wild and beautiful, and it’s an essential part of our world and society.

This project focuses on creating an animated story for a campaign aimed at children (age 8-11) and their parents, promoting using nature more. The focuse of the story has been to celebrate children’s wonderful imagination, and to show that even the most simple things in nature can be great starting points for fun and play.

You don’t need a bunch of fancy outdoor gear to have a good time. Most of what you need is actually already provided by nature itself being there right outside your door. All you have to do is just to put on your rubberboots and and bring yourself and your imagination.

In this project, I've focused on creating an engaging and fun storyline, developing a dynamic and playful visual style, and creating the animation. The final product of this project consists of 1 main campaign video of 1 minute and 9 seconds, an additional video of 20 seconds for commercial spots, and a selection of GIFs for social media use.
